Iconography
Three high-level design principles were used when creating the logos for the OrderUp brand: light, delightful, and unmistakable. Icons should bring a subtle joy to the viewer by using real-life sources, play-on-words, and/or emotion. Be careful to keep it delicate and discreet, we don’t want icons to clash with the content.

Food
The fork and knife should be used to represent food objectively. Avoid using specific food icons (ie burgers, sushi). Try using a photograph of specific foods instead. Alternatively, it may be useful to use illustrations of specific foods. Use sparingly.
Orders
The paper bag with a heart in the middle should represent personal orders. It emphasizes both “food” and “portability.” Alternatively, it may be useful to use a more illustrative delivery bag. This is not the primary representation of “orders,” and should be used to complement the primary icon.
User
A human figure with a circle around it should represent a singular user. Avoid using photographs of hands using a phone. Alternatively, use a human figure with a plus sign, or a group of human figures to represent group ordering.
